This Model does have unsealed bearings so will require more maintenance than say, the next model up - The Trap which comes with higher quality sealed bearings in the steering and pedalling areas to better withstand weather and lower maintenance. Our bikes come partially assembled, Just the seat, bars, pedals, front wheel, front brake and ancillary parts need fitting and then of course standard setting up of the bike. We will always recommend a cycle mechanic builds the bike for you to maintain warranty and to have a bike ready to ride without hassle.
